Internet censorship bills postponed

In class we watched Clay Shirky: How social media can make history one topic that was indirectly touched was the difficulty of filtering and controlling the news. Along with the difficulty of controlling the news comes the same difficulty of controlling the media that is posted and shared on the internet. A lot of the media being shared is copy righted which presents the government with the difficult choice of protecting peoples intellectual property or respecting peoples rights to privacy.
